CLASSIC THAILAND + TREKKING
Day 1:
Morning arrival in Bangkok and welcome by the guide at the exit door number 4 of the airport (same level as arrival). Transfer to the Silom Serene Hotel. Total change of scenery for this day that will have you discover the Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew) and the temple of the Emerald Buddha, the protector of the city. Visit of the Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha. Boat tour on the klongs (canals) in Thonburi. Evening free.
Note : you must arrive in the morning to visit Bangkok the first day. If not we will visit Bangkok the day two.
Day 2:
Road trip (90 km from Bangkok) to Dammoen Saduak and its colorful floating market, on the way, visit of House of Coconotery. Then to Kanchanaburi. Visit of the impressive WWII military cemetery next to the world-famous River Kwai Bridge. Visit of the JEATH museum. Return to Bangkok. Night at Silom Serene Hotel. Evening free.
Day 3:
Early morning start for Bang Pa In, the King’s Summer Palace, and on to Ayuthaya, the second historic capital of Siam. Known as the City of The 33 King’s, its ruins cover 15 km² and have been turned into a well-run archeological site. The tour continues to Lopburi, the City of Monkeys. They are respected and left free to roam around the ruins of a Khmer temple.Arrival in Sukothai and check-in at the Legendha Hotel. Evening Free.
Day 4:
Morning visit of the National Archeological Park of Sukothai, the oldest capital of Siam (AD 1250-1350) which contains UNESCO-sponsored essential elements of Thailand’s cultural heritage. Among the sites visited will be the temples of Mahathat, Sa Si, Sri Sawai and Si Chum. Depart for Chiang Mai. On the way visit of Lampang temple. Transfer to The Park Hotel. Use the free evening to visit and make some shopping at the famous Night Bazar.
Day 5:
Tour to Doï Suthep, situated at an altitude of 1000 meters, from which you will enjoy a spectacular view of the countryside around Chiang Mai underneath. 290 steps will lead you to the monastery. During your visit of the local handicraft industries you will discover the age-old techniques for hand-painting paper umbrellas and manufacturing silk, silverware and lacquer ware. Dinner and show with traditional folk dances.
Day 6:
Trekking: depart from hotel around 09h30. Visit of orchids farm, of Mae Malai local market and waterfall. Lunch in small restaurant on the way. Then 2 hours walk to the Karene village. Dinner and night in the village: basic accommodation in local house under mosquito net.
Day 7:
Trekking: Breakfast, then a 2h30 walk to the elephant camp. Lunch. Afternoon elephant ride for about one hour. Arrival in the Mouseu village around 16h30. Dinner and night in the village: basic accommodation in local house under mosquito net.
Day 8:
Breakfast, then bamboo rafting for one hour on Maetaeng river to Bane Sopkai. Lunch. Afternoon, pick-up drive to visit Akkha and Lisou villages. Drive back to Chiang Mai.

Depart for Bangkok by night train with sleeping berths (no guide in the train). Arrival in Bangkok on the morning day 9 and transfer to airport OR night at Park Hotel and day 9 on the morning transfer to Chiang Mai airport and flight back to Bangkok.

Night at Park Hotel and day 9 on the morning transfer to Chiang Mai airport and flight to your seaside resort.
