Hanoi – Tribes, villages et marketsof the North – Hoang Lien – Halong Bay

Day 1 : Hanoï

Visit of Hanoi : the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Ethnological Museum, the Temple of Literature and the first university of Vietnam. After lunch, visit the Hoa Lo prison and Huu Tiep corner to see the B-52 shot down during the bombing Christmas 1968. Little bike ride in the old quarter of the 36 shopping streets and water puppet show . Return to your hotel until 20:00 time of your transfer to the station for the night train to Lao Cai 21:15.

Night : Fansifan Sleeper Train – Private Deluxe Cabin


Day 2 : Tribes, villages and markets of the North

Arrival in Lao Cai at 5.30am. Care and breakfast in a local restaurant. Transfer to Bacha (+/- 1h30) to explore the Spectacular Market. Here you will see a lot of local ethnic groups the surrounding mountains. Meet the villagers. After lunch (excluding prices) departure for Trung Do. You will stroll along the beautiful rice Chay river before reaching the village. Departure of Bao Nhai bridge and arrived in Sapa for the night.

Day 3 : Montagne Fansipan - Sapa

After the breakfast, we start with a half-day of trek till Lao Chai and Ta Van. The first 5.5 Km of the walk go down in the valley of rice terraces, on the foot of the Fansipan mountain with amazing landscapes. Continue to the village of Ta Van, one of the rare Vietnamese villages inhabited by the Zay tribe. Begin of afternoon, return by car to Sapa for the dinner (not included in the price). Visit of Sapa and its market.

Day 4 : Hoang Lien National Park

Direction to the Silver waterfall where you can swim. We continue to the Heaven gate, the highest mountain roads of Vietnam. From there, you'll have a great view to Fansipan, the roof of Indochina. We go down along the waterfalls and bamboo forests of the National Park of Hoang Lien. Visit of the village of the Black H'Mongs : Sin Chai, to discover the life of one of the widest ethnical minorities of the Sapa region. Transfer to Lao Cai. Transfer to the train station and night train to Hanoi.

Night : Fansitrain – Cabine Deluxe, privée avec couchette


Day 5 : Halong Bay

Arrival in hanoi at 5h30. Departure for the Halong Bay for a cruise : visit of the Surprise Cave (Hang Sung Sot), meeting with the villaggers and the fishermen of Cua Van, kayaking at Dong Tien (the Enchanted Cave) and animated evening : films, games and massage services.

Night : Cruising boat "Le Paradis" – Deluxe Room


Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoï

Tai Chi lesson on the roof of the boat and swimming, kayaking, massages. You will continue your cruise on Halong Bay and arrive at Tuan Chau to take the road to Hanoi where you will have the free day.


Day 7 : Return

Transfer to the airport for your flight.
